The Party Barn is open at 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday Night located at 195 Old Spanish Trail (CR 203) Buchanan Dam, Texas. {Off Hwy 29 - One street West of RR 1431} Enjoy live music. There is 'No Cover Charge' - Donations Appreciated. They have burgers, hot dogs, brats, B.Y.O.B., set ups, and come join the fun. There is a 'Kid Friendly' atmosphere. Lake Buchanan / Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce located at 17816 East Hwy 29, Buchanan Dam, Texas will close on Tuesdays effective October 16, 2007. Our Spring Schedule will be 10 am to 4 pm Wednesday & Thurs., 10 am - 5 pm, Friday, 9 am - 5 pm Saturday, 9 am - 4 pm Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm Monday.

The American Bald Eagle Comes Home
The Bald Eagle, our national symbol, graces the Hill Country every Winter. Just off Hwy 29, half way between the town of Llano and Buchanan Dam, a huge nest is home to a pair of nesting Bald Eagles. They have successfully raised 2 eaglets in this nest each year.
